THIS PHOTO-BOOK PROJECT HAS BEEN FULLY FUNDED. Except, I'm adding 50-70 pages more than I first budgeted with – so all pre-orders are still both helpful and welcome. When the book finally materializes, the price will go up.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
PHOTO BOOK: Portraits and Parties 1983 - 2013.
FORMAT & PAGE NUMBERS: Approximately 24 x 17 cm with 250 pages or more (definitely more).
CONTENT: Portraits of a whole generation of danish indie-scene names (and some international) – with rare and previously unpublished material of bands such as Mew, Tindersticks, Björk, Jomi Massage, Malk de Koijn, Sanne Gottlieb and many more ... along with pictures of artists and writers and everyone else that got in the way of my camera at numerous parties, from high school to Ingen Frygt events.
WHY: Because together these images make a unique documentation of the bands and artists, we grew up with – AND it’s the first published collection of my photographic work.
THE MONEY: They are primarily expenses for the quality printing I want for this book. I am an experienced designer and editor, so the rest I can do myself.

ABOUT ME
NAME: Sigrún Gudbrandsdóttir, born and raised by icelandic parents in Copenhagen.
PRESENT: Writer/performer, photographer, cover-designer, award-winning art director & picture editor at Scenario Magazine.
EARLIER: Member of (also award-winning) art group Ingen Frygt, arranging parties and making music videos as well as exhibitions. Student at Danish Royal Academy of Art / School of Architecture & Design, and backing vocalist in nineties – almost award-winning – indie-popband Lovebites. (We SHOULD have won that Music Award for best hit. But unfortunately we were nominated the same year as 'Barbie Girl'...)

ONE 30x40 CM N.Y. PRINT + PRE-ORDER OF THE BOOK In the spring of 2011 I took my daughter on her first trip to New York, and I photographed the city like it was the first time I saw it too. Three of these images were printed as a picture series in Scenario Magazine earlier this year under the title 'There's Nothing You Can't Do', and if you support the project with this amount you get a 30 x 40 cm edition of one of them – plus a pre-order of the book. If you go for this one I'm sure you are too serious to want the butt collage, but it's still optional.

A photo session with me plus pre-order of the book
SPECIAL PORTRAIT SESSION + PRE-ORDER OF THE BOOK For this amount I offer a special portrait session in return, of you or your band / kids / parents / goldfish or whoever you wish portrayed. We meet up somewhere in Copenhagen for the shoot (I don't do studio work) but first we talk or mail thoroughly about the pictures. I do the afterwork in photoshop and send you the result (typically the 3-5 best ones, sometimes more) on mail.

A photo session with me with the aim to get into the book plus pre-order of the book
SPECIAL PORTRAIT SESSION FOR THE BOOK + PRE-ORDER OF THE BOOK You can support your way into the book. If you – or you and your neighbors or river dance-group get together and support with this amount, I offer a photo session with the intention of creating a portrait for the book. There are clauses, though: I decide solely how the picture is taken, and if, in the editing process, I decide that the picture doesn't fit in, I pay all the money back and you get the picture for free.
